The Tragedy of Arthur - Arthur Phillips

I really love Phillips' writing. (Most of the time.) He has the best way of describing things. But I was left with two lingering questions: First, the obvious one. I don't want to spoil in this case, so I won't state it here. But I"m dying to know what anyone out there thinks. Is it or isn't it???? Secondly, the book jacket stated that he lives in NYC with his wife and sons but the memoir portion of the book seems to indicate otherwise. I'm kinda curious which one is the latest? Did his wife join him from Prague?
Finally, I tried to read Angelica, but couldn't get through it. Strangely, becuase I do enjoy Phillips. Has anyone read it and should I give it a second shot?

Vinegar Hill - A. Manette Ansay

I actually felt more aligned with James than Ellen. How about you? I'd like to know what you thought of each character...There's a decent amount to chew on.

Life Sentences - Laura Lippman

Waste of time. Let me change that. This felt like a waste of time, for me. The back of the book is way more enjoyable than the story itself. If you've read this and enjoyed it, I'd really like to know...
